Use this article to turn on Detect Tashkeel (diacritics) mistakes, so Tarteel flags mistakes in the vowel marks (tashkeel) as well as word mistakes. Detect Tashkeel (diacritics) mistakes is a Premium feature.
To turn on Detect Tashkeel (diacritics) mistakes:
Open Settings in the Tarteel app.
Tap Recitation.
Under Mistake Detection, make sure Detect mistakes is on. Detect Tashkeel (diacritics) mistakes shows only while Detect mistakes is on.
Turn on Detect Tashkeel (diacritics) mistakes, directly below Detect mistakes.
Your next recitation session flags tashkeel mistakes as well as word mistakes.
We’ve worked hard to make Tashkeel mistake detection accurate but it may still miss some of your tashkeel mistakes. If Detect Tashkeel (diacritics) mistakes is on and Tarteel still misses tashkeel mistakes, see the section "Tarteel Did Not Catch a Mistake I Made" in A mistake was flagged that I didn't make.
The animation below shows how to turn on Detect Tashkeel (diacritics) mistakes in Settings:
