The Tarteel app keeps crashing or freezing

Updated yesterday

We know how frustrating it can be when the app crashes or freezes during your Quran time. Below you'll find step-by-step troubleshooting guidance and what to do if the problem persists.

General Crash Troubleshooting

If the Tarteel app closes unexpectedly, try the following steps in order:

  1. Force-close and reopen the app. Swipe the app away from your recent apps list (or force-quit it), then open it again. This resolves most temporary issues.

  2. Check for app updates. Make sure you're running the latest version of Tarteel from the App Store or Google Play Store. We regularly release updates that include stability improvements.

  3. Clear the app cache. On Android, go to your device Settings, find Tarteel under Apps, and tap "Clear Cache." On iOS, uninstalling and reinstalling the app is the equivalent step (see below).

  4. Reinstall the app. If none of the above steps help, uninstall Tarteel and reinstall it from the official store. This is a last-resort step — your account data is tied to your login, so you will not lose your progress as long as you log back into the same account.

App Freezing (Unresponsive but Not Closed)

If the app screen is visible but nothing responds when you tap — the app is frozen, not crashed. This is different from the app closing entirely.

What to do:

  1. Force-close the app by swiping it away from your recent apps list (or force-quitting it).

  2. Reopen the app.

If the freeze happens repeatedly on a specific screen or during a specific action, please make a note of that detail — it will be very helpful if you need to contact support.
