You can now use stablecoins like USDC (USD Coin) to make one-time payments on the Tarteel website, for example, when purchasing a Tarteel gift card.
Payments are securely processed through Stripe, and you can pay directly from your crypto wallet using supported networks such as Ethereum, Solana, Polygon, or Base.
Please note: Stablecoin payments are only available for one-time purchases made through our website (like gift cards).
They are not yet supported for recurring subscriptions or in-app purchases.
What Is a Stablecoin?
A stablecoin is a type of cryptocurrency that’s designed to stay stable in value, it’s attached to a real-world currency, such as the US dollar.
For example, 1 USDC = 1 USD.
That means you can pay using crypto without worrying about price fluctuations.
How to Pay with Stablecoin on Tarteel
Visit the Tarteel website and select the gift card you want to purchase.
When you reach the checkout page, choose Pay with cryptocurrency (USDC) or Stablecoin via Stripe as your payment method.
You’ll be redirected to crypto.stripe.com, Stripe’s secure crypto checkout page.
Connect your crypto wallet.
Select your preferred network (Ethereum, Solana, Polygon, or Base).
Approve the payment from your wallet.
Once confirmed, you’ll see a “Payment complete” screen and be redirected back to Tarteel for confirmation.
That’s it! Your payment is automatically processed in US dollars on our side, while you pay in stablecoin.
Supported Stablecoins and Networks
Tarteel now supports payments in:
USDC (USD Coin) via Ethereum, Solana, Polygon, and Base networks
Stablecoin payments are available globally for our users, as long as Stripe supports your region.
Disputes
Stablecoin transactions are authenticated by your crypto wallet, meaning they’re secure and final.
There are no traditional chargebacks or disputes, but if there’s an issue, our support team can review it for you.
Limitations
Before using stablecoin payments, please note:
Only available for one-time payments (like gift cards).
Not supported for subscriptions or in-app payments.
You need a crypto wallet that supports USDC and one of the supported networks.
